A brochure is good for many people to read information about certain things and it gives you more details. I think that brochure are more for parents than students. Students aren't really into brochures unless they are really pretty and have some interesting facts and information to share with you. Parents are more likely to read brochures, because they want to know more about something and they also have more time on their hands such as taking it home with them, or reading it later on when they do not have work to do at their job.

I like the contrast in all of these brochures, because they are very appropriate for what the brochure is for. They all use bright colors and colors that's easy to read. The first brochure use contrast by using yellow and blue which makes you think of kids and some what family. Most of the brochures uses repetition of color rather than a slogan , phrase, etc. The second brochure uses colors that makes you think of Hawaii and the last one used bright colors for an amusement park. I like how the contact information in the first brochure is lined up which makes it easier to read (alignment). The second brochure also lines up information about Hawaii as well as pictures and contact information (alignment). On the other hand, I do not think that the alignment is all that great in the last brochure. I think that they wanted the brochure to be more of a collage to make things nice and fun, because an amusement park is supposed to be fun. On the first two brochures, you can tell that things are categorized by listing information about the place or company, inserting pictures then listing contact information. (proximity). The last brochure didn't really do any of that and that is what made it a bad brochure (proximity).

The purpose of the first brochure is to announce a 7th annual Duck Race that is given by a Family Centered Services Inc. The second brochure is a travel brochure for Hawaii and the last brochure is to entertain people to come to Six Flags amusement park. The audience for all of these brochures is for parents who wants to take their kids to an event, on a vacation to Hawaii or to Six Flags amusement park. The genre for all three is a brochure. For the people who made these brochures want people to come to their place, event, vacation or company and spend money (engagement).

My brochure:

For my brochure, I used three different colors to categorized the information. I also decided to use those three colors in particular, because the picture that I chose use the same three colors that's displayed in the pictures (contrast). I also used repetition of the colors. I aligned the information on the left side and I also aligned the picture, as well as the title. I could have used more proximity, but I did not think that much of proximity would be used, because there isn't that much information to categorize.

The purpose of this brochure is to show students how to balance their social life with their academics. The audience is for college students or students in general. The genre is a brochure. I made this brochure for college students to learn more on how to balance their social life with their academics, because it very hard; especially for freshman's.

There isn't too much contrast is this first flyer, but I like how the "Now Hiring" is in all red. So if this flyer was to be posted around, outsiders or potential employers will easily pay attention to it. The alignment is good. They asked a question at the beginning to relate to whoever is reading the flyer, then provided information underneath that question. They also lined up their contact information and lastly, pictures at the bottom of the flyer.
The contrast is good in the second, because it sets the mood for a club scene at night by using dark colors in the background. I also like how they made the font white and bold, so that it would be very easy to read the information that is placed on the flyer. I don't like that there are different fonts. For a flyer, I think you should either use one or two fonts to categorized the information. The alignment is bad as well, everything is spaced out.I love the contrast in the last flyer, because it has style and the money green is a good color that you are able to read. The alignment is great as well. On one side of the flyer is information and on the other side have companies and contact information listed. Even though this flyer contains a lot of information, it does not look like it contains a lot of information because of the alignment. The green also reminds me of money and I think that is why they used it, because the flyer is for a job fair. This shows outsiders and potential employers that they are serious and took a lot of time to put into this flyer.

P.A.G.E Principle
The purpose of the first flyer is to show potential employers that a jobs are hiring. The purpose of the second flyer is to promote an event for outsiders and the last flyer is to show outsiders and potential employers that NOVA is hosting a job fair. The audience for each of these flyers are potential employers and outsiders. The genre is a flyer. The first and the last flyer is to catch future employers attention to hire more people and help these people engage in a certain work field. The flyer in the middle is to entertain outsiders. They want people to come out and have a good time!

My flyer

C.R.A.P Principle
I used two colors which is pink and green. I then used the information in black, which makes the tone of the flyer more serious and that way people will catch their eye to the important information (contrast). I then used repetition in the word "Flawless" because that is the name of the ladies night and I wanted to attract girls because "Flawless" is a girls anthem song made by Beyoncé Knowles. I aligned the information very well and I also took my time to use certain fonts for certain information. For an example, the title is very big and the date is big as well because these are the things that people want to know about the event (proximity).

P.A.G.E Principle
The purpose of this flyer is to entertain and promote an event for girls that are students at Bloomsburg University. The audience is female students. The genre is a flyer. I got out of this flyer that BU females will have fun at this event and there will talks hosted to boost confidence and plenty of other things.
